Some doodles of characters from Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke. It's a spectacular book, if you like Jane Austen and magicians, you'll love this.
I have to say, Strange's hair gave me a bit of an issue. It's supposed to be just slightly red, more brown, but a lot of people make him a straight up ginger. This is still too ruddy for my tastes, but whatever. I'm not quite sure about my doodle of the gentleman with the thistle down hair. I think he needs a bit more masculinity. Oh, and Henry Lascelles is an arrogant asshole, and therefore totally my type. |
